The resulting protein is the Recombinant partial-length Porphyromonas gingivalis kgp. Its purity (>90%) was determined by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and its component identity was validated by the LC-MS/MS analysis. This protein is used to produce specific antibodies or study issues-associated with chronic periodontitis. In-stock kgp proteins are available. |

May act as a virulence factor in the development of peridontal disease. Involved in the coaggregation of P.gingivalis with other oral bacteria. |
