| Comments： | Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): HindIII--9.4, 4.3; EcoRI--11.0, 2.7; BamHI--6.0, 3.2, 2.4, 2.1; PstI--2.5 (doublet), 2.4, 2.0, 1.1 (doublet), 0.7, 0.6, 0.4; SalI--13.7. This is a subclone of VAW409 (p07486). This probe may contain repetitive sequences. The 2.8/2.7 kb constant bands are the same polymorphism detected by pVAW409R3 (ATCC 61476, 61477) but hybridization is light and the 1.9 kb constant band blocks reading the 1.9 kb allele. The 2.7 band obscures reading the A2 allele. The combined heterozygosity of both MspI polymorphisms at D17S122 detected by pVAW409R1 (TS134357, 61475) and pVAW409R3 (ATCC 61476, 61477) is 72%. |
