pDM10-1 was isolated from a cDNA library from a third cycle NIH/3T3 transformant derived from a human colon carcinoma.
The insert includes nucleotides +854 to +2064. This region includes tyrosine kinase sequences, but not tropomyosin sequences.
This was constructed by inserting the BalI-EcoRI fragment of pDM10-1 into the SmaI-EcoRI sites of the pUC18 polylinker. The insert can be isolated by a BamHI/EcoRI double digest.
