Shipping Information: In Escherichia coli containing the plasmid
Comments:
Also available as the vaccinia recombinant, vTF7-3, ATCC® VR-2153™.
When this plasmid is transfected into vaccinia-virus infected cells, T7 RNA polymerase activity is expressed.
The vector pGS53 includes a P7.5 promoter with early and late regulatory signals upstream of BamHI and SmaI cloning sites. These are flanked by vaccinia TK sequences from the Wyeth strain to direct recombination with vaccinia virus.
