This probe detects a 180 kb SfiI fragment and in lymphoblastoid cells, a 450 kb SalI fragment with no MluI sites, and a 275 SalI/NotI fragment. In fibroblastoid cells, it detects a 275 kb SalI fragment. The insert contains repetitive sequence. A PvuII fragment (about 0.45 kb) is "almost unique". |
