A full-length cDNA clone extending from nt -33 to +4002 relative to the translation initiation codon. The coding sequence is 3839 nt.
When transfected into BRO melanoma cells, the sequence expresses a protein recognized by monoclonal antibodies but does not confer multiple drug resistance.
Originally cloned using EcoRI linkers into the polylinker of lambdaZAP. Excised as a HindIII/XbaI fragment (sites from the polylinker) for insertion into pJ3omega.
