Comments:
Rats were immunized with syngeneic normal rat kidney cells (NRK) that had been infected with Harvey murine sarcoma virus.

Complete Growth Medium: The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated Dulbeccos Modified Eagles Medium, Catalog No. 30-2002. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%.
Subculturing: Dislodge attached cells from the flask substrate with a cell scraper, aspirate and dispense into new flasks. Maintain cultures at a cell concentration between 1 x 105 and 1 x 106 cells/mL. Do not allow the cell concentration to exceed 1 x 106 cells/mL.
Medium Renewal:Two to three times weekly

Complete growth medium described above supplemented with 5% (v/v) DMSO.xa0 Cell culture tested DMSO is available as ATCC Catalog No. 4-X.
