产品名称: tsc2 ang1
商品货号: TS210737
Organism: Mus musculus, mouse
Product Format: frozen
Culture Properties: adherent
Biosafety Level: 1

Biosafety classification is based on U.S. Public Health Service Guidelines, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their facilities comply with biosafety regulations for their own country.

Disease: cutaneous sarcoma
Applications:
The tsc2 ang1 cell line was derived in 1998 from a cutaneous sarcoma taken from a Tsc2+/- mouse heterozygous for tuberin.
It can be used for drug testing and for angiogenesis studies.
The cell line is a useful model of TSC. It is the only genetically defined tuberous sclerosis cell line available that forms tumors.
Derivation:
Tuberous sclerosis (TSC) is an autosomal dominant genetic disorder caused by mutations in either TSC1 or TSC2. Mice heterozygous for Tsc2 were developed as a murine model of Tsc2 disease using a gene targeting approach.
The tsc2 ang1 cell line was derived in 1998 from a cutaneous sarcoma taken from a Tsc2+/- mouse heterozygous for tuberin.
Tumorigenic: Yes
Effects:
Yes, forms tumors in nude mice
Comments:

Complete Growth Medium: The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated Dulbeccos Modified Eagles Medium, Catalog No. 30-2002. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%.
Subculturing:
Subcultivation Ratio: A subcultivation ratio of 1:4 to 1:5 is recommended
Medium Renewal: Every 2 to 3 days
Remove medium, and rinse with 0.25% trypsin, 0.03% EDTA solution. Remove the solution and add an additional 1 to 2 ml of trypsin-EDTA solution. Allow the flask to sit at room temperature (or at 37C) until the cells detach.
Add fresh culture medium, aspirate and dispense into new culture flasks.
Cryopreservation:
culture medium 95%; DMSO, 5%
Culture Conditions:
Temperature: 37.0°C
Name of Depositor: JL Arbiser
Deposited As: mouse
Year of Origin: 1998
