Comments:

The antibody reacts with an antigen that is expressed at high levels on mouse dendritic cells and thymic cortical epithelial cells.

The antigen is a 205,000 dalton group VI C type molecule that mediates adsorptive endocytosis and antigen presentation.

The antibody reacts with and stains mouse dendritic cells and epidermal Langerhans cells.

The cells are capable of being adapted to serum free growth in using Nutridoma medium.

Complete Growth Medium: The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated RPMI-1640 Medium, Catalog No. 30-2001. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%.
Subculturing: Cultures can be maintained by addition or replacement of fresh medium. Alternatively, cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension at 1 x 105xa0viable cells/mL.xa0 Maintain cultures at a cell concentration between 2 x 105xa0and 1 x 106xa0cells/mL.
Medium Renewal: Every 2 to 3 days
Cryopreservation:
