The 170 kd EGF receptor is weakly detected in immunoblot screening of A431 cells. In addition, a protein of approximately 100 kd is detected in extracts of human brain. The IgG1 and IgG2b reactivities of the antibody with the v-erb B peptide (138 to 149) was confirmed by ELISA. IgG1 was strongly positive while IgG2b was negative. |
| Complete Growth Medium： | The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated Dulbeccos Modified Eagles Medium, Catalog No. 30-2002. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%.
