Medium : 100% Keratinocyte SFM + 0.2 ng/ml hEGF + 15 µg/ml pituitary extract
Subculture : seed out at ca. 1 x 106 cells/175 cm2 flask; split 1:3 - 1:4 every 6-8 days using Accutase (rinse two times with PBS and incubate for about 15 min at 37°C)
Incubation : at 37 °C with 5% CO2
Doubling time : ca. 80-100 hours
Harvest : cell harvest of ca. 3-4 x 106 cells/175 cm2
Storage : frozen with 90% Keratinocyte SFM, 10% DMSO
Mycoplasma : negative in PCR assay
Fingerprint : fluorescent nonaplex PCR revealed the same STR DNA profile as MBU-IM, MBU-T, and MBU-TS1
